This table defines course equivalencies for people who had already been enrolled in the old program before it was combined with Western. It outlines which courses can be used for each course requirement of the endorsement program.

| LIB 464 or C&I 479 | Either one counts for Reference |
| C&I 480 | Replaces C&I 480 which was four credits and is now three credits |
| C&I 484 and LIB 465 | Either one counts for the Library Administration requirement |
| C&I 485, 598, or LIB 469 | Either one counts for the Practicum; this experience is now three credits |
| C&I 483 and LIB 462 | Either one counts for the Technical Processing or Cataloging requirement |
| LIB 461 | A new class, new to UM-M, required, all candidates |
| C&I 488 | A new class, new to both campuses, which addresses automation and use of technology in teaching information literacy |
