Mark Durham, Head CoachMark Durham is in his eighth year as head golf coach and in his first season as Bulldog Athletic Director after 12 years as head men's basketball coach. He will continue as head golf coach. Durham is a 1983 graduate of Three Forks High School and a 1988 graduate of Western Montana College. Durham received his masters in education from MSU-Northern in 1992. He began his collegiate playing career at Rocky Mountain College where he played for two seasons. Durham transferred to Western and during his Bulldog career, earned All-Conference, All-District and Academic All-Conference honors. After his playing days, he joined Casey Keltz on the Western bench as a graduate assistant. In 1989, the Bulldogs advanced to the NAIA National Tournament where they upset the defending national champions and the #1 seed at the tournament in the first round. Upon graduation, Durham taught and coached at Gardiner High School for one season. He then moved to MSU-Northern where he was an assistant for two years while completing his Masters Degree. Durham's next stop was Miles Community College where he coached for three years. He guided the Pioneers to three straight Mon-Dak championships. His combined record at MCC was 54-39 and he was named Coach of the Year all three years. His 1998-99 squad at Western won the regular season Frontier Conference Championship and he was named the Conference Coach of the year. He was inducted into Western's Hall of Fame in 2002. Mark is the father of two daughters, Kalli age 15, and Kelsey age 14.
