Bulldog Basketball Signs Helena's Grank Fink

Grant Fink, a 6’7” forward from Helena, Mont., has signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent to play basketball for the University of Montana Western, according to head coach Steve Keller.
Fink averaged 17 points and 10.3 rebounds for Helena High School this past season. He earned first team all-state honors and was selected to play in this summer’s Montana-Wyoming All-Star Game.
“We are excited about the signing of Grant Fink to our program,” said Keller. “Grant is a player with great size and athleticism. He can step out and hit the perimeter shot, as well as be a force on the inside. We feel Grant has the potential to be a great player in the Frontier Conference.”
In addition to basketball, he also participated in golf. Fink joins his older brother Garrett on the Bulldog roster.
He will graduate this spring from Helena High School and plans to major in business. Fink is the son of Rueben and Debbie Fink.

Washington Prep Star Signs With Bulldog Basketball

Cody Thueringer, a 6’3”, guard from Kent, Wash., has signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent to play basketball for the University of Montana Western according to head coach Steve Keller.
Thueringer transfers from Highline Community College. He averaged 13 points, six rebounds and four assists per game. Thueringer earned first team all Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) honors.
‘”We are very excited that Cody is joining our program,” said Keller. “He is a very athletic physical guard. Cody can shoot the three or attack the rim and draw the foul. He will bring a defensive presence to our team at guard. Cody will be an impact player in our league for the next three seasons.”
Highland finished second in the Western Division of the NWAACC with a 12-4 conference record and an overall mark of 18-13.
Thueringer is a graduate of Kentwood High School where he earned first team all-area honors.
He is the son of Marty and Julie Thueringer and will major in business management.
