Camp Topics
- Fundamental skill development including setting, passing, spiking, blocking, serving and defense.
- Communication on the court.
- Transition skill development including serve, receive, team defense and team offense.
Eligibility
Open to girls entering grades 6-12 in the Fall of 2008.
Location & Facilities
The camp is located on the campus of The University of Montana - Western in Dillon. All volleyball camp activities will be scheduled at the Straugh Gymnasium.
Check In & Departure
Check in for all campers will be Tuesday, Aug. 5 in the lobby of the P.E. Complex between 6-7 p.m. The first session for grades 9-12 begins Sunday at 7 pm. Sessions Aug. 6-7 are 9:30 - 11:30 a.m., 1:30 -3:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. On Aug. 8, sessions are 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. On Aug. The camp will conclude at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug 8.
The Middle School camp's first session is Aug. 5 from 7:30 - 9 p.m. Sessions Aug. 6-8 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 2 - 2:30 p.m.
Housing and Meals
Overnight campers and camp coaches will stay in the Residence Halls. Meals will be provided in the Cafeteria.
What to Bring
Bring playing attire (t-shirts, shorts, socks, clean court shoes and knee pads). Also, be sure to bring a great attitude for fun and learning. Overnight campers must furnish their own toiletries and towels. All bedding provided.

Southwest Classic, Aug. 9, 2008
6 on 6 volleyball tournament for high school teams looking to have one last chance to sharpen their skills before high school try-outs, each team has the option of having a current Montana Western Bulldog coach them or they can coach themselves.
*Prizes are awarded to the first place team in each league
