Victor Star Joins Bulldog Volleyball

Katie McCormick, a 5’7” setter from Victor, Mont., has signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent to play volleyball for the University of Montana Western according to head coach Katie Howells.
McCormick averaged 3.9 kills, 22 assists, seven digs, five aces and 2.6 blocks per game. She earned all-conference honors and was selected team captain.
“Katie is a great fit for Montana Western volleyball,” said Howells. “Not only is she a great athlete but an outstanding student as well. Katie is a hard worker and will be very dedicated both on the court and in the classroom. I look forward to having her join our program in the fall.”
In addition to volleyball, she also participated in basketball where he earned all-conference honors.
McCormick maintains a 4.0 GPA and was selected to her school’s honor roll and received academic all-state honors for both volleyball and basketball. She will graduate this spring from Victor High School and was selected Salutatorian of her class.
