The performance at Dillon’s Jaycee Park (across from Beaverhead IGA) is free and open to the public. A picnic dinner will be provided by the Beaverhead Chamber of Commerce for a nominal charge at 5:30 p.m. with the performance starting at 6 p.m. “The Two Gentlemen of Verona” is one of Shakespeare’s early comedies. It is a hilarious romp offering a variety of comic devices for which Shakespeare would ultimately become famous. The plot features two sets of young lovers working their way through the complexities of learning the difference between infatuation and love. This season’s tour is the 37th for the company whose mission is to bring Shakespeare to Montana residents each summer.
