X Camp

Make X-CAMP a big part of your summer

Join us for the University of Montana Western's X-Camp: Operation Explore. Now in it's third year, X-Camp provides two weeks of exploration, adventure and learning in summer 2016. Growing each year, X-Camp is truly an opportunity to learn while doing.

Campers will learn skills and gain knowledge in two, one-week sessions including:

     Eco-Explorer (July 18-22)
Our eco-explorers will discover the natural world and the adaptations that allow a variety of wildlife to thrive in southwestern Montana. From magnifying nature's smallest creatures to engineering animal habitats and exploring Montana Western's campus garden where campers will learn what it takes to grow their food.

Making Your Own Path (August 1-5)
Campers will investigate their surroundings and adapt to challenges on the path to the prize. Clues will help guide them along the way. An interactive look at map creation and time travel will keep explorers on their toes as they learn.

X-Camp is open to incoming second through fifth graders and costs $100 per session.

Early registration not required but strongly encouraged.
