Family Housing

Family Housing, consisting of sixteen apartments (ten one-bedroom and six two-bedroom). Preference is given to families, single parents, and student athletes. Further, preference for two bedroom units is given to current Family Housing residents. Apartments include a standard 11'3" X 17'10" kitchen/living area, 10'10" X 12'2" bedroom, and 5'X7' bathroom. Each unit has a storage locker, in which the tenant is responsible for providing a padlock.  There is a one-time $200 damage deposit required when assigned an apartment.

Amenities for Family Housing

  • Internet Access: Wireless internet is available. All units have the option for ethernet connections.

  • Cable TV: Each room has a cable connection.

  • Phone: There is a local landline jack in each room.

  • Laundry Facilities: All students residing in on-campus housing have access to coin operated washers and dryers.

  • Kitchen: Each unit has a kitchen which includes a microwave, double sink, oven and refrigerator.

  • Bathroom: Each has a tub/shower, sink, toilet and medicine cabinet.

  • Mail Services: All students residing in on-campus housing are assigned the address. Addresses are formatted as follows:

  • Bicycle Racks: Bicyle racks are available outside of each residence hall. Students are responsible for proper lock-up and security of their bikes.

  • Storage: Each unit has an assigned storage unit. Locks for the storage unit are not provided.

  • Resident Parking: Resident Permits are issued to persons living in the residence halls. They may park anywhere in the designated residence hall lots.

  • Rental Vehicle Plug-In: In cold weather, residents may rent an outlet that is provided next to Clark Hall to plug in their vehicle.

Mathews Hall

Built in 1920, Mathews is the second oldest building on campus. It is connected to the campus dining facility and a large percentage of the rooms have private sinks. Each room in Mathews Hall has its own unique shape and size. There are also a few rooms with private bathrooms, usually assigned to upper-classmen. The second and third levels are co-ed, but have separate community bathrooms for each sex. The two other floors are designated male and female. Rooms in this hall are approximately 16' x 11.5' in size.

Centennial Hall

Centennial is the last of the three buildings in JDC. It has two female floors and one male floor. There are community bathrooms on each level. Rooms in Centennial are 14' x 11' large.

Davis Hall

Davis Hall is a three story building consisting of one male floor and one female floor. The second floor of Davis houses the Residence Life office, Bulldog Card Center, and Residence Life Facilities office. There are community bathrooms on the residential floors and public restrooms near the Residence Life office. Rooms in Davis are about 15.5' x 11' large.
