Mission Statement
 MISSION STATEMENT
The University of Montana Western's Alumni Association and Foundation developed a shared Mission Statement:
- Promote and support Montana Western and its institutional goals.
- Involve Montana Western's alumni and friends in the life and future of the University.
- Serve as a liaison between the University and the public.
- Establish and provide programs which serve the needs of alumni.
The Foundation was formed in 1983. Through the generous efforts of Montana Western alumni and friends, an endowment in excess of $5 million and annual gifts helps to provide scholarship support to deserving students as well as assist in a variety of academic programs and campus activities.
