Billings, Mont., Nov. 2, 2013 – The University of Montana Western football team traveled to Billings, Mont. on Saturday afternoon to play the 8th ranked Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College. It would turn into a day that saw dropped passes, missed open receivers and three Bulldog turnovers. Montana Western lost 47-10.
The University of Montana Western volleyball team took to the court versus Montana State-Northern on Halloween night. The Lady Bulldogs fell to the Skylights in three straight sets.
Kickoff for the football game on Nov. 9, 2013, between Montana Tech and Montana Western has been changed to 4:30 p.m. The change has been made to accomodate a Montana Class A football playoff game being held at 12 p.m.

DILLON, Mont., Oct. 25, 2013 – The Montana Western Men’s basketball team returned to the court and fended off the Yotes from the College of Idaho taking the victory 100-92. The Bulldogs had six players score in double figures as they held on to a six-point halftime lead and won by eight to take their season record to 2-1.
Montana Western football hosted the seventh ranked Carroll College Fighting Saints in a Frontier clash. Carroll took advantage of their ground game by gaining 239 total yards on the ground to the Bulldogs 95. The Fighting Saints outgained the Bulldogs 405 yards to 238 total yards on their way to the 31-7 victory.
The Montana Western volleyball team hit the road again heading east to Billings to play a Frontier Conference volleyball match versus Rocky Mountain College on Oct. 17. Rocky entered the match at 8-2 in conference play and sat second in the conference. The Bulldogs came into the match looking for the upset.
Sammi Bignell of Montana Western was named the Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The Montana Western football team returns home this weekend after being on the road for the last two weeks and brings a new national ranking back to Dillon.
