Montana Western men's basketball beats College of Idaho 100-92

DILLON, Mont., Oct. 25, 2013 – The Montana Western Men’s basketball team returned to the court and fended off the Yotes from the College of Idaho taking the victory 100-92.  The Bulldogs had six players score in double figures as they held on to a six-point halftime lead and won by eight to take their season record to 2-1.

  • UMW’s Antonio Garrett – 26 pts, 11 rebounds, 8/10 free throws
  • UMW’s Taylor Pruett – 18 points, 4/6 free throws, 7 rebounds
  • UMW’s Jordan O’Bryne – 23 points
  • UMW’s Maazin Butler – 19 points, 10/12 free throws,
  • UMW’s Kurtis Parsons – 16 points, 4/ 7 three pointers
  • UMW’s Jordan Overstreet – 13 points, 9/11 free throws
  • UMW had 6 players score in double digits

“We were 31 of 60 from the field and got to the line.  Our offense was efficient, but we need to execute and come up with plays on the defensive end,” said head coach Steve Keller.
