Montana Western Volleyball wins opening Frontier Conference game

Great Falls, Mont. - The University of Montana Western volleyball team swept Dickinson State for third time in the last month. The Lady Bulldogs took the opening game by the score of 25-20 and pushed to a 27-25 victory in the second game. 

Emily-spikeThe final game of the match was lopsided in the favor of UMW 25-13. The Bulldogs attacked the Blue Hawks in devastating fashion by finishing the match with a .363 hitting percentage. Emily Erickson led the team with 16 kills and had a .481 hitting percentage, while Breanne Kelley finished with 13 kills of her own and a .407 hitting percentage. These kills were in large part to the assists from Rachelle Chamberlain who had 42 on the evening.
