Nampa, Idaho, Nov. 22-23, 2013 - In their opening game of the Wendy’s Classic basketball tournament the Montana Western men forced 20 turnovers to defeat Division II f Northwest Nazarene.
The Bulldogs limited their turnover total to 6. The Bulldogs led the entire game behind four Bulldog double-digit scorers.
In the second game they faced off against College of Idaho for the second time this season. The Yotes avenged their loss earlier this year to the Bulldogs, 81-76, to send UMW to 6-3 on the season. Jake Owsley was big for the Bulldogs as he recorded another double-double.

Montana Western (6-3) @ College of Idaho (7-2). College of Idaho is on a seven-game winning streak. These two teams faced off on Oct. 26 with the Bulldogs winning 100-92.

“We played great defense, and executed great offensively down the stretch,” said head coach Steve Keller after the win Friday night. “This is a huge win for us, our third versus NCAA Division II opponents.”
