Montana Western men fall in conference opener 64-68

CastroDec. 7, 2013 – The University of Montana Western men’s basketball team opened their conference play versus Westminster on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs were held to 45 percent shooting from the field by the Griffins. The game was a close game throughout with the Bulldogs battling to try to overtake the Griffins but were ultimately held off to open their 2013-14 Frontier Conference schedule at 0-1.

JakeWHAT’S COMING UP

The Bulldogs will travel to Missoula, Mont. on Dec. 20th to play the University of Montana in an exhibition.  They will then travel to Billings, Mont. Dec. 27-28 to play in the Rocky Mountain College Tournament. They open the tournament on Friday afternoon when they take on No. 18 Mid America Nazarene University out of Kansas.
