Montana Western men win two thrillers

DILLON, Mont., Jan. 2-3, 2014 – The Montana Western men’s basketball team took to the court to play two Frontier Conference games. The Orediggers from Montana Tech were the opponents on Thursday night. The Western Bulldogs came out three point winners in double overtime with a score of 94-91.


In their second game of the week Montana Western took on Lewis-Clark State College. The game would not go into overtime, but was still a thrilling game and win for UMW. Maazin Butler hit a three pointer with 1.9 seconds remaining to lift the Bulldogs to a 74-71 victory.
