Connor-shotUMW's Connor Woodill makes a shot versus Carroll Saturday Jan. 11, 2014The Bulldogs enter the game with a 10-6 overall record and 3-2 record in conference. UMW has made a total of 126 three-point shots this season which ranks them at No. 13 in the nation and making almost eight per game (7.9) ranks them No. 21 in that category. The Montana Western men have also been solid at the free-throw line shooting 72.6 percent.

UMW is scoring an average of 77.5 points per game led by Jake Owsley’s 14.6 points per game. He is followed closely by Maazin Butler who is averaging 14.5 points per contest and Jordan Overstreet’s 12.3 points per game. The team is led by Owsley as well on the boards with a 7.25 rebounds per game and Kris Castro who is averaging 5.75 a game. Beyond being among the team leaders in points scored Butler is leading the team in assists with better than three a game. Owsley looks to bounce back from an illness this past weekend and build on his team leading five double-doubles. Another key in the game will be the performances of key members coming off the bench. Kurtis Parsons who scored 14 points and Connor Woodill had 17 points as they look to continue their good play as they were huge in the Bulldogs win over Carroll last Saturday. Parsons hit four straight three-point shots and scored 12 consecutive Bulldog points in the win against the Saints.

The game tips off at 5 p.m. in Salt Lake City, Utah.
