University of Montana - Western (UMW) offers 24 credits of course work to prepare students to receive a Child Development Associate (CDA) national certificate. This course work also forms the professional core for an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood and an early childhood minor, creating a seamless delivery system from CDA to associate degree to bachelors degree.
