The University of Montana Western, which was established in 1893 as Montana's Normal School, has been a proud provider of Elderhostel programs since 1976.  For the first decade or so, participants were housed and attended classes on campus in Dillon.  Later, we branched out and began offering programs in nearby communities and Yellowstone National Park, housing not only Dillon participants - but all attendees - in commercial lodgings.
ELDERHOSTEL
, whose concept came to life in 1975, is a not-for profit organization providing high-quality affordable, educational, adventures for adults who are 55 and older.
