Birch Creek

In 1935, "Camp Birch Creek," a Civilian Conservation Corps camp was built.  Seven of the fifteen structures remain today and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The Center is managed by UM-Western and utilizes several of these buildings plus a new Conference Center.  It offers mountain splendor, a place for experiential, hands-on ecological learning, and a comfortable setting for gatherings, conferences and delicious meals.
