The University of Montana Western Art Gallery announces its November 2011 exhibition, “MATRIX Press: Master Prints.” The exhibition showcases “Deleted,” a linocut print by the late Richard Mock, which is on display Nov. 1 through Nov. 30, 2011. There will be an opening reception on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Montana Space Grant Consortium Educational Specialist Joey Shapiro Key will be the next featured speaker for the University of Montana Western’s On the Rocks science speaker series on Monday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. in Block Hall Room 311 on the UMW campus.

October’s guest reader for Montana Western English Department’s Dances With Words series will be Michael Czarnecki, a poet and publisher from rural New York state. He will appear at the Cup on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 13, 2011 marks the start of the University of Montana Western English Department’s Dances With Words 2011-2012 series, which will include a April reading by author Jamie Ford, whose appearance is made possible through a Humanities Montana Opportunity Grant secured by the Montana Western English Department.
