UMW News BureauThe fourth annual University of Montana Western International Food Fair will take place on Thursday, April 19 at the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds 4-H Building in Dillon, Mont. from 5 to 7 p.m. UMW NEWS BUREAU The fourth annual University of Montana Western International Food Fair will take place on Thursday, April 19 at the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds 4-H Building in Dillon, Mont. from 5 to 7 p.m. The annual celebration of food from around the world has grown every year and this year’s event will feature authentic, homemade dishes from a dozen corners of the globe, including Austria, Denmark, France, India, Italy, Japan, Norway, Poland, Polynesia, Russia, Sweden and Thailand. The fair is organized by the UMW International Committee and all proceeds benefit the UMW International Committee. Montana Western maintains an active international program with class trips to Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, the Galapagos Islands, Greece, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Scandinavia and Turkey. Upcoming trips include Peru, Russia and Nepal. The evening’s events will also include a prize raffle, international music and a slideshow featuring the international travels of Montana Western students and faculty. Admission to the festival is free and food tickets will be sold at the event. The Montana Western Safe Ride van will also run a shuttle to the festival from the Keltz Arena parking lot at 5 p.m. The shuttle will return to campus at 7 p.m. The 4-H Building is located at the end of South Railroad Avenue near the entrance to the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds.
