Montana Western graduates over 300 students

The University of Montana Western’s 117th graduating class included students graduating in summer and fall 2013, and
in spring and summer 2014. Commencemet took place May 10, 2014, on the Montana Western campus. 

Montana Gov. Steve Bullock gave the commencement address.

How many graduated?

Montana Western expects to graduate 351 students this year with two- and four-year degrees and certificates. 

Where do UMW grads come from?

Montana residents make up 68 percent (237) of
the graduating class while six percent (20) are from Washington state, followed by five percent (18)
from Idaho.  

Other states represented include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Maryland, Maine, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
