Recent study-abroad students will present their experiences and the evening will conclude with featured speaker Marty Essen. The University of Montana Western’s International Club will host its first event in conjunction with the Associated Students of the University of Montana Western (ASUMW) at 5:30 p.m. on April 13 in the Lewis & Clark Room on the Montana Western campus. The event is free and open to the public. The event will feature Montana Western study-abroad student experiences and a presentation by noted speaker and author, Marty Essen. Montana Western’s Experience One program has made it possible for students to travel all over the world. Groups have studied in Ireland, Italy, the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador. Next year a group will travel to Berlin and Prague to experience the rich history of Germany and Poland. Montana Western students will tell stories, present research and share photos from their trips. The banquet will conclude with Marty Essen presenting his celebrated digital show “Around the World in 90 Minutes.” Essen will share stories and photos from his travels to the seven continents.
