The University of Montana Western prohibits the use of fire on University-owned or controlled property, except in pre-approved circumstances.
This policy is established to provide a safe and healthy campus environment.
Exceptions to this policy include:
Special requests may be approved in advance by the Vice Chancellor for Administration, Finance & Student Affairs.
Fires may be permitted in the Student Union Building fireplace and the Student Life fire pit with advance approval by the Dean of Students.
