By Wally Feldt The University of Montana Western lost in three straight sets to the University of Great Falls in a Frontier Conference matchup. The loss drops the Bulldogs to 0-7 in the conference and 4-10 overall. With the win the Argo’s move to 5-2 in league play and 10-9 overall. Montana Western never quite could get their feet under them and lost 25-19, 25-20 and 25-21. Jamie Zemljak and Valeria Thoms led the Bulldogs with nine kills a piece. On the defensive side Elise Davis led UMW with seven digs, followed closely by Maria Peterson with six. For the Argo’s Kelsey Vanuden led with 11 kills. Cali Buck and Cassandra Mahaffey both led the team with eight digs each. Montana Western hit’s the road on Oct 15, against Lewis-Clark State.
