Bulldogs lose in three to Carroll College

Montana Western lost in three straight sets Friday night to Carroll College By Wally Feldt The University of Montana Western volleyball team lost in three sets to Carroll college. With the loss the Bulldogs drop to 0-10 in conference play and 4-15 overall. The Saints up their record to 9-2 in league and 23-7 overall. The two teams played each match evenly, battling 25-20, 25-18, and 25-21. Bulldog Valerie Thoms lead the team with six kills. Defensively junior Theresa Bennett lead the team with eight digs. For the Saints, Mary Mahoney led with eight kills. Maureen Frauenholtz had seven digs for Carroll. Tomorrow the Bulldogs face off against Rocky Mountain College. Oct. 29th Carroll College hosts Montana State-Northern.
