On Tuesday, the Bulldogs overcame a double-digit deficit to edge No. 20 South Dakota School of Mines Hardrockers 73-71. The Bulldogs trailed by three at the half and outscored the Hardrockers 42-37 in the second half. JaRon Brown led the Bulldogs with 21 points followed by Cody Thueringer with 15 and Brandon Lawson with 12. On Wednesday evening, the Bulldogs downed No. 25 Black Hills State University 73-64. Brandon Brown led Montana Western with 29 points followed by JaRon Brown with 18 and Terry Hauser with 12. The Bulldogs open Frontier Conference play at Rocky Mountain College on Thursday, Jan. 7.
