UMW NEWS BUREAU The Teton Science Schools’ Doug Wachob and Josh Kleyman will be the next featured speakers at Montana Western’s On the Rocks speaker series on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. in Block Hall Room 311. Kleyman will discuss the Teton Science Schools’ K-12 science experience and Wachob will speak about the graduate program. Their program is entitled Science Education in Jackson Hole. Wachob earned a Ph.D. in Zoology and Physiology from the University of Wyoming in 1997 and has been affiliated with the Teton Science Schools for many years. He is currently the Director of Science Research Graduate Studies and the Teacher Learning Center. Josh Kleyman is the Kelly Campus Programs Coordinator where he focuses on field-based environmental science. Based in Jackson Hole, Wyo., the Teton Science Schools have been teaching youth about the natural world and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem since 1967. The schools are comprised of six programs serving students from across Wyoming, the Intermountain West, the nation and around the world.
