Men's basketball signs Taylor Mullins

University of Montana Western head men’s basketball coach Steve Keller announced the signing of Taylor Mullins, a 6’5” forward from Bozeman, Mont., to a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent. By Lowell Peterson University of Montana Western head men’s basketball coach Steve Keller announced the signing of Taylor Mullins, a 6’5” forward from Bozeman, Mont., to a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent. During his senior year at Bozeman High, Mullins averaged six points, two rebounds and one assist per game. He shot 45 percent on his field goal attempts and 83.3 percent on his free throw attempts. The Hawks won the 2010-2011 AA State Basketball Tournament and Mullins had the highest field goal percentage at the tournament, making 10 of 14 field-goal attempts (71.4 percent). Mullins was his team’s free throw award winner and also received the most improved award. He was named honorable mention at the AA State Basketball Tournament. Mullins is the son of Marty and Cathy Mullins and plans to major in biology. His older brother, Matt, also plays basketball for Montana Western.
