Custodian I Pool Position

Position: Call in pool position on an as-needed basis with fluctuating schedule
Wage: $10.00 per hour, temporary position, less than 20 hours per week with no guaranteed hours

Description
This position reports to the custodial supervisor and is responsible for a variety of duties, including keeping work areas clean, neat and sanitary by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, scrubbing, dusting, emptying trash, restocking paper products, moving furniture and other duties as assigned. This is a fill-in position on an as-needed basis with a fluctuating schedule with no regularly scheduled hours. This position will be expected to step in, frequently on short notice, when regular employees are absent or to supplement regular staff during peak periods. The position may include cyclical work such as deep cleaning windows and shoveling snow.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; the ability to follow established procedures and verbal and written instructions; knowledge of cleaning supplies, cleaning techniques, operating cleaning equipment and lifting more than 70 pounds overhead. This individual must be able to work with a variety of personalities and time schedules.
