Math/Science Upward Bound
710 S. Atlantic, Box 41
Dillon, MT 59725
Please TYPE the MSUB STUDENT SELF ACADEMIC PLAN questions and type your answers. Make one copy for yourself to keep. You must have your own copy on record so you can track and update your goals as you achieve them. The returner application questions will ask you to report on your goal progress in February, so stay on track.
Your goal target dates should cover only the current academic year, thus all goal deadlines should be between December 2006 and June of 2007.
Choose goals that are challenging but reachable. Remember that goals are realistic, measurable, and have a commitment date.
The difference between a dream and a goal is in the details: Powerful goals are very concrete and detailed! Map out all of it: what/when/how/why/how many. For example: WEAK GOAL STRONG GOAL Study more Study 3 hours on M & W afternoons at the library Get better grades Get a B or higher in math/English/whatever The purpose of these goals is to help make your college experience happen! We ask YOU to choose your goals because we believe YOU are the one who knows best how you can succeed.
Stipends cannot be dispersed until your complete ASP is submitted to Mica. MSUB STUDENT SELF ACADEMIC PLAN 2006-2007 POST YOUR GOALS WHERE YOU CAN SEE THEM AND DON'T FORGET TO TRACK THEM AS YOU GO!
Please type your goals, submit a copy to MSUB, & retain a copy for your records.
