Montana Western volleyball picks up two home wins

The University of Montana Western redeemed their home floor with back-to-back victories over Walla Walla University on Wednesday and Thursday evening. The Bulldogs won both matches in straight sets and gained confidence as they head into conference play.

Bulldog volleyball returns home after long weekend

The University of Montana Western hosted Frontier Conference rival Montana Tech in their home opener on Tuesday, Aug. 21. The pre-season match did not fall in the Bulldogs favor, with Tech claiming a 25-21, 25-22, 23-25 25-19 non-conference win.

The University of Montana Western has adopted Moodle as its new online learning platform. Moodle replaced WebCT on Monday, Aug. 29, the first day of the fall 2011 semester.

Volleyball travels to Butte and Billings

The University of Montana Western Bulldogs (UMW) volleyball team will travel north on Thursday, Aug. 25 to participate in the Tech Triangular tournament in Butte, Mont. The Bulldogs will play Walla Walla University at 5 p.m. and follow up with a match against Montana Tech at 7 p.m.

Jobs at the University of Montana Western

Montana Western is a small (1,289 FTE) public institution with baccalaureate degrees in elementary and secondary education as well as liberal arts degrees with a variety of interdisciplinary emphases. The campus is located in the town of Dillon in the scenic Beaverhead Valley of southwestern Montana.
