Montana Western is a small (1,399 FTE) public institution with baccalaureate degrees in elementary and secondary education as well as liberal arts degrees with a variety of interdisciplinary emphases. The campus is located in the town of Dillon in the scenic Beaverhead Valley of southwestern Montana. Montana Western is currently in the process of reviewing its academic offerings and seeks to attract a stable FTE of around 1,500 students.
