University of Montana Western head football coach B.J. Robertson announced the signing of Billings, Mont., senior Jeremy “Bubba” Keller and Helena, Mont., senior Jarred Kvamme to Frontier Conference/NAIA letters of intent.
Keller is a 6’ 2” 190 pound defensive back and wide receiver from Billings West High School. Jeremy was voted as one of the team captains and earned Honorable Mention All-State for his play in the secondary his senior season. He also received 2nd team All-Conference as a corner as well as Honorable Mention All-Conference as a wide receiver. Keller had 20 receptions for 197 yards, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery, and had 34 tackles his senior year.
“We love what Bubba brings to the Bulldog football family on and off the field,” said Bulldog head coach B.J. Robertson. “He has played QB, WR, and CB while at Billings West. We look forward to putting his height, athleticism, and his 3.6 gpa to work as a corner for the Bulldogs.”
Off the field Jeremy is a member of the National Honors Society. He has also earned Academic All-State 2 years, and is a 4 year member of the Billings West Honor Roll. He plans on studying History Education while attending Montana Western. He is the son of Fred and Cindy Keller.
Kvamme is a 6’ 2” 245 pound offensive guard who played for Helena Capital High School. Jarred was a two time honorable mention All-State performer, receiving those honors as a junior and senior. He was also selected to the 2nd team All-Conference team following those two years as well.
“Jarred has the size, intelligence, footwork, toughness, and competitiveness that we look for in an offensive lineman,” Coach Robertson said. “We have had our eye on Jarred since seeing him and his team at the AA Camp last summer. And now to have him join the Bulldog football family, we could not be more excited.”
Off the field Jarred is a member of the National Honors Society and has earned academic All-State throughout his time as a Capital High Bruin. He plans to study biology while attending Montana Western. He is the son of Rick and Kathy Cochrane.
