UMW News BureauItaly tour students will present their experiences from Venice, Florence, Rome, Milan, Assisi and Pompeii Wednesday Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. in the STC Great Room. Last Fall 42 Montana Western students, faculty and community members participated in a nine day educational tour of Italy. The tour, led by UMW professors Randy Horst (art) and Bill Janus (history), included visits to Venice, Florence, and Rome, as well as stops in Milan, Assisi and Pompeii. Students studied and reported on the art and historical significance of the trip. Students that participated in the tour will give a free pubic presentation about the trip Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Swysgood Technology Center Great Room on the Montana Western campus. The presentation will include a slideshow that will display Italy's cultural and historic treasures.
