Seven Bulldogs Earn All-American Honors

EricStoverud.jpg KyleHannah.jpg Six Bulldog football players were named to NAIA All-American Football team and one player earned Academic All-American Honors.

Eric Zahler, a senior from Yakima, Washington, earned 1st team honors as a punter. In Zahler's career, he set school records in Career Points, Career P.A.T.'s, Career Field Goals and Highest Career Field Goal Percentage. As a punter, He also earned 1st team All-Frontier Conference honors and was a 1st team NAIA FOOTBALL.NET/United States Sports Academy All-American selection. In 2004, he had 60 punts for 2699 yards for a 45 yard average. In his career, he had 228 punts for 9575 yards for 41.9 yard average.

Dallas Mock, a senior from Kuna, Idaho, earned second team honors for the second straight season. In this past season, Mock led the Bulldogs in receiving with 40 catches for 520 yards and three touchdowns. He was also a first team All-Frontier Conference selection and a first team selection to the NAIA FOOTBALL.NET/United States Sports Academy All-American team.

Jereme Hess, a senior from Puyallup, Washington, earned Honorable Mention honors for the second straight season. This past season, he had eighteen unassisted tackles, 35 assisted tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 12 quarterback sacks. Hess set a school record for Career Quarterback Sacks with 33.5.

Nik Rewerts, a senior from Libby, Montana, earned Honorable Mention honors. This past season, Rewerts had 25 unassisted tackles, 38 assisted tackles, 20 tackles for loss and nine quarterback sacks. Rewerts set a school record for tackles for loss in a season (20) and in a career (30.8).

Ben Snipes, a senior from Great Falls, Montana, earned Honorable Mention honors for the second straight season. He also earned first team All-Conference honors. Snipes anchored an offensive line that averaged 316 yards a game.

Eric Stoverud, a junior from Great Falls, Montana, earned Honorable Mention honors. He was also a first team All-Conference selection. Stoverud led the Bulldogs in tackles with 49 unassisted tackles and 63 assisted tackles. He also had five tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.

Kyle Hannah, a senior from Cut Bank was named a Daktronics-NAIA Football All-America Scholar-Athlete for the second straight year. To be eligible a player must be a junior or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Hannah, an elementary education major, caught 14 passes for 258 yards and one touchdown.
