Bulldog Golf Signs Dillon Star
Wednesday, January 9 2008
Sydnee Crosser of Dillon, Mont., has signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent to play golf at the University of Montana Western, according to head coach Mark Durham.
“"Sydnee will be a great addition to our women's program,” said Durham. “She will be competitive from the start and will help draw other area golfers to the program.”
Crosser transferred from Idaho Falls High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Dillon’s Beaverhead County High School prior to her junior season. In her first season at BCHS, she earned All-State honors as the Lady Beavers won a divisional title and placed sixth at the Class A State Tournament.
She plays competitive golf in the summer in Montana and won her age group in the Butte, Anaconda, Dillon and Deer Lodge Junior Golf Tour. Crosser placed in her flight at the 2007 Montana Women’s State Amateur.
“Montana Western was my choice because I have grown up a Bulldog,” said Crosser. "I have aunts, uncles and my parents are all Montana Western alumni. My father is involved with the golf program at Montana Western. I have played with most of the players on the team and get along well with them."
Crosser maintains a 3.93 GPA and earned academic all-state honors. She also participates in basketball and is the senior class president at BCHS.
Crosser will graduate this spring from BCHS and will major in political science and business.
She is the daughter of Mike and Ann Crosser and Bobbi Crosser.
