Bulldog Basketball Signs Washington Prep Star

Nathanael Sawin, a 6’7” post player from Renton, Wash. has signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Montana Western, according to head coach Steve Keller.

Sawin is a 2007 graduate of Tahoma High School.

He averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds per game and earned second team all-league honors.

“Nate is a big, strong kid,” said Keller. “He is only 18 years old and is a very physical player. I am looking forward to watching him develop into one of the best post players in the Frontier Conference.”

Sawin plans to major in secondary education in health and human performance. He is the son of Thomas and Dae Sawin.
