Bulldog Rodeo Ends Fall Season

After a slow start, the women's team ended the first half of the season with a bang!
At the Montana Western fall rodeo, the women's team grabbed the team title behind the individual titles in goat tying and barrel racing. The Bulldogs edged Montana State 480 to 455.
Shaylee French won the goat tying and Whitney Gollehon won barrel racing.
The men's team finished second to Montana State. Bulldog cowboys winning individual titles include Sam Levine in tie-down roping and Wyatt Smith in bareback riding.

After the five rodeos of the fall season, both the men's and women's teams are sitting second in the standings behind Montana State. Here is how Bulldog cowboys and cowgirls sit in the regional standings.
Sam Levine is fifth in the all-around.
James Irish is first in saddle bronc, Reed Hunsucker is third, Brian Dawson is sixth, and Wyatt Smith is ninth.
Chad Marquardt is first in saddle bronc riding and Wyatt Smith is eighth.
Levi Hendrickson is sixth in bull riding.
Kyle VanBiezen is fourth in tie-down roping, Donnie Benson is fifth, Sam Levine is sixth and Coulter Gruel is eighth,.
In steer wrestling, Taylor Nahrgang is second, Stetson Wilson is third, Justin Keppner is fifth, Bridger Ward is tied for eighth, Matt Irish is tied for 10th, Kyle VanBienzen and Rowdy Hays are tied for 15th.
In team roping header, Lester Peterson is sixth, Taylor Nahrgang is seventh, Shane McCaffree is eighth, and Kent Mueller is ninth.
In team roping heeler, Alex Watson is fourth, Parker Murnion is fifth, Trey Nahrgang is sixth, John Vermedahl is eighth, Bryan Grenke is 11th, Wyatt Smith is tied for 12th and Tanner Kelly is tied for 14th.
In barrel racing, Brandy Pedersen is second and Whitney Gollehon is seventh.
In breakaway roping, Whitney Gollehon is tied for fourth, Rose Field is ninth, Brittnee Benson is 12th and Alexis Archibek is tied for 13th.
In goat tying, Amber Overstreet is second, Shaylee French is fifth, Alexis Archibek is 10th and Sara Detton is 11th.
The season resumes in April with the Montana State spring rodeo.
