Bulldog Rodeo Signs California Star

Lexi Archibek of Sun City, Calif. has signed a NIRA letter of intent to rodeo at the University of Montana Western, according to head coach Olie Else.

Archibek is a 2007 graduate of Julian Charter High School.

She was the 2004 California High School Rodeo Association (CHSRA) District 8 Rookie of the Year. In 2007, Archibek was the CHSRA goat tying champion, District 8 goat tying champion and reserve all-around champion.

She will compete at the National High School Rodeo Finals at Sprinfield, Ill July 20-27, 2007.

At Montana Western, she will compete in barrel racing, breakaway roping and goat tying.

Archibek will major in biology. She is the daughter of Larry and Kathy Archibek.
