Finlay Earns All-Conference Honors

Jenny Finlay, a 5'11" senior outside hitter from Riverton, Utah was named to the Frontier Conference All-Conference volleyball team. Finlay earned Honorable Mention honors.
She led the team in kills with 2.69 per game, attack percentage and in service aces. She was second on the team in digs with 2.15 per game. She was the Bulldog captain and lone senior on the squad.

Lady Bulldogs Knocked Out of Frontier Conference Tournament

The University of Montana Western Lady Bulldog volleyball team lost to the University of Great Falls 3-0 in the first round of the Frontier Conference Tournament. Game scores were 27-30, 28-30 and 23-30.
Senior Jenny Finlay led Western with 11 kills followed by Kirilyn Winkler with nine. Defensively, Finlay led the way with 14 digs followed by Kiley Myers with nine nd Nicole Mertens with eight. Winkler had two solo blocks and an assisted block and Lindsey Nichols has two solo blocks.
Montana Western ends their season with a 1-27 overall record.

Lady Bulldogs Open Conference Tournament Against UGF

The University of Montana Western Lady Bulldog volleyball team opens the Frontier Conference Tournament against the University of Great Falls, Friday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. The tournament is being held at the HYER Complex on the Montana Tech campus.
The Lady Bulldogs (1-26, 1-13) are seeded eighth at the tourney while Great Falls (12-2, 19-7) is the tourney’s top seed.
This will be the fifth meeting between the two teams this season and Great Falls has won the previous four matches.
Senior Jenny Finlay leads Montana Western with 2.68 kills a game followed by sophomore Lindsey Nicholls with 2.08 kills per game. Freshman Kiley Myers leads the team in digs 3.34 per game followed by Finlay with 2.03 per game.

Lady Bulldogs End Regular Season

The University of Montana Western Lady Bulldog volleyball team fell to the Lewis and Clark State Warriors 3-0 in a Frontier Conference match from the Straugh Gymnasium.
The loss closed out the regular season for the Lady Bulldogs, who fell to 1-26 overall and 1-13 in conference.
The Lady Bulldog attack was led by lone senior Jenny Finlay with 14 kills. The defensive stand was led by both Finlay and Nicole Mertens who had 10 digs apiece in the match.
Montana Western will compete in the Frontier Conference tournament November 10 and 11 at Butte, Mont.
