| This is a statewide project. The Lewis and Clark Trail includes the Expedition's outbound route (1805) on the Missouri River drainage, over the Continental Divide to the Bitterroot Valley, and across Lolo Pass to Idaho. The return trip (1806) includes the Clark Fork, Blackfoot, Marias, Missouri, Gallatin, and Yellowstone rivers and overland passages. Please click on location markers for more detailed information. |
