Camp Fortunate (Clark Canyon Dam overlook)

View south from Camp Fortunate Lookout across Clark Canyon Dam. The low water of the reservoir in 2002 exposed much of the base of the hill near where Horse Prairie Creek and Red Rock River met to form the Beaverhead River. The Expedition and Cameahwait's Shoshone band camped near the confluence in 1805.
