Terry Badlands
Varicolored sandstone and shale, black coal, and red clinker, cut in jagged erosional forms and only lightly vegetated, make the Terry Badlands a color spectacle. Fire-hardened (erosion-resistant) clinker tops many pinnacle-shaped hills like this one.
