Health Services

Students enrolled at The University of Montana - Western must either carry their own health insurance plan or enroll in the plan sponsored by UM-Western.

Please contact the Student Life Office for a brochure on the UM-Western/Blue Cross Blue Shield Student Insurance Plan.

Western contracts with the Community Health Clinic to provide basic medical care to all of its students. This service is paid for out of the fees students pay to the university and there is no extra cost for the clinic's services. Additional information about the Health Clinic is provided below.

That's across the street in the basement of the Medical Professional Building between the hospital and Sparky's Garage Restaurant. It takes about 3 minutes to get there on foot.

WHAT I NEED TO DO:

Take your student ID to the Health Clinic and present it upon request. You will then be seen and treated by a Health Care Professional. Nothing else is necessary.
