Hi, my name is Taylor Nahrgang and I have been releceted as the Student Body President.  I am from Buckeye, Arizona and I attended Buckeye Union High School .  I am going into my Senior year here at Western and this is my third year on the Student Senate.  I am on the Rodeo Team here and have qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo in the Steer Wrestling event.  If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions come on down and see us in the Student Senate office.  Also there are two spots on the Senate open for freshmen this fall.

 Vice President Stetson Wilson

Hey everybody, what’s going on?  My name is Stetson Wilson and I have been re-elected as your Student Body Vice President.  This is my fourth and final year here at Montana Western and I love it here.  This is my third year on the Student Senate.  I am from Pocatello, Idaho and went to Highland High School .  There I was involved in high school rodeo and FFA.  In 2006 I received my American FFA Degree, it was a huge honor.  I am an Environmental Science Major with a Related Area in Geology.  I hope that if you have any concerns you will let us know and we will do whatever it takes to help you out.  We look forward to a great year ahead of us. 

Senator Boe Adler

Howdy, I’m Boe Adler and I’m from the small town of Rosebud, Montana .  I was basically born on a horse and I love to ride and train horses.  During the summer I am a wildland firefighter and during the school year I am a biology major.  I am a member of the Draft Horse Driving Club and I am also a self proclaimed “good dancer.”

Senator Heather Brooks

My name is Heather and I am a member of the UMW women's Varsity Basketball Team.  I am going to school to become a physical Therapist.  I grew up in Montana but Moved to Stoughton, Wisconsin in 2000.  I love being outdoors as much as I can be and I also paint whenever I have a spare minute.  My biggest vice is that I drink coffee way more than I should and if I had to live on one condiment for the rest of my life it would definately be mustard.

Senator Chelsea Hyde

Hello!!  I'm Chelsea Hyde and I am currently majoring in the Equine Science Program here at UMW.  I am in the middle of my sophomore year and plan to graduate next fall.  I also help the UMW rodeo team out.  I am really interested and have a strong passion for the subject that I am studying.  I really love it here at UMW and feel honored to be elected to the Associated Students of the University of Montana Western for the main reason that I want to make a difference in this school.  As part of the Student Senate I am happy to voice your opinion or anything else that I need to take to a Senate meeting.  I can be reached at mthorsegirl33@msn.com.  Thanks and I hope you enjoy your time here at Montana Western.  Western is a cool place and I also enjoy the smell of rodeo and sweaty horses.

Senator Chloe Mosey

What is going on Western?  I am chloe Mosey and I am a member of the UMW Women's Varsity Basketball Team, thats right I'm a balla'.  I am from Bremerton, Washington which is on the coast so naturally I love fishing.  I will pretty much eat anything with BBQ sauce.  After college I plan on starting my own business and playing pro-basketball overseas in Australia for a few years.  I love being out on the ocean and my favorite smells in the world are a new leather basketball and dead fish.  So holla' at a balla'...balla' out.

 

Senator Lily Murphy

Hey, my name is Lily.  I am a senior here at Montana Western.  I will finally be graduating next spring.  I have three beautiful children and a wonderful boyfriend.  I work in the cafeteria and I love my job.  I love being in college and being part of things here at Montana Western.  Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions.  I am here to help students in any way that I can.

 
Senator Ashley Neill

Hello!  I'm Ashley Neill, and I am enrolled in the Environmental Sciences program here at UM-Western. I've just started my Senior year and plan to graduate in 2009.  I have an intense passion for the subject I study, and I am a dedicated student.  I absolutely love attending UMW and I feel blessed to be a part of the Associated Students of the University of Montana Western for the reason being that I have an opportunity to make a difference in this school.  As a student who is concerned with anything regarding this school, I would be happy to voice your opinion.  I can be contacted at ashley59725@hotmail.com.  Thank you and I hope you enjoy your time at this school as much as I do!  Western is truly a hidden treasure in this tiny little town.

Senator Brenna Nicks

I am a Junior this year and a member of the UMW Rodeo Team.  I compete in the Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying, and Barrel Racing events.  I'm from the small town of Tendoy, Idaho. I'm just your average blonde haired, blue eyed girl.  Also GO MAPLE LEAFS!!! 

Senator Miranda Ploeger

I'm your typical crazy outgoing cowgirl.  I rodeo for UMW, competing in Barrel Racing and Goat Tying.  I am in the Natural Horsemanship Program along with the horseman's club.  I am from Carleton, Michigan and I love to hunt, fish, farm, and train horses.

 Senator Sarah Putzker

I am a Junior here at Montana Western and have enjoyed all the time I have spent here.  I love to shop and am in love with flowers, as they are much better than chocolate.  I enjoy spending time outside and love riding my horse, Aerial.  I am also a fan of Disney movies.  I am very excited to be a member of the Student Senate.

Stephanie Wagner

I am just a small town Montana girl who loves long walks on the pavement.  I enjoy spending time with my huge family and all my wonderful friends.  Someday I hope to be a highschool english or art teacher, after I graduate from Montana Western.  I am employed by Student Life as a Resident Assistant and I absolutely love it.  I also work in the registrar's office which I also enjoy.  I love Montana Western's small community.  I am becoming more and more aware of how quickly my time here is passing so I am making the most of my moments and plan on having  blast for the remainder of time I spend here at Western.

Senator Chase Wanner

Hi, my name is Chase Wanner and I am from the small town of Forsyth, Montana.  I have lived in Forsyth my whole life and have enjoyed growing up in a small town with my younger brother sean.  I am currently a junior here at UMW majoring in business.  I have a work study job, which is working for Conferences and Events.  I am a member of the business club and youth connections.  Outside of the classroom I enjoy playing sports, traveling, listening to all kinds of music, hiking, ping pong, and hunting.  I look forward to making my last two years here at UMW a blast.

Senator Tyler “Chicky” Wines

Hey my name is Chicky and I am a sophmore this year.  I graduated from Gooding High School salutatorian and was the student body President.  I spent all four years of high school in student council.  I also played basketball, football, ran track, and participated in rodeo.  I was a state qualifier for track and football and a state and national qualifier for rodeo.  I am on the rodeo team here at Western.

Senator Nicole Yost

I am a fun girl who loves sports and pink.  I have found my calling in buying shoes and purses, I'm just really good at it.  As the President of the Ambassador Club and a Student Senator, I will enjoy the opportunity to meet every student here at Montana Western.  I am also the Student Manager of the Bark 'N' Bite, where I meet new students during campus tours and am always ready to talk.  When I graduate I plan on designing, building, and owning my own resort.  I love traveling and seeing new things as well as watching sports and shopping.  In my free time I like to scrapbook and hang out with my friends and family, also play with my dog, dodger.  In closing I would just like to say that the Dodgers are the best!!

Office Manager Brooke Erb

This is the 7th Student Senate that I have worked with at Montana Western.  This is the first time that there have been men in both the Senate president and vice president offices. They keep our office a busy place.  There has been a lot of activity and many changes this year.  This Student Senate is in constant motion and the ideas keep coming.  I am in the office Monday through Thursday.  During my office hours I work for the Student Senate, Student activities, Intramurals, and all of the campus clubs.  When I am not at the University I am at the ranch that my husband and I own and operate north of town.  I have 3 children, Bethany, Collin, and Brynn.
