President Tyler “Chicky” Wines

Hey my name is Chicky and I am a Junior this year.  I graduated from Gooding High School salutatorian and was the student body President.  I spent all four years of high school in student council.  I also played basketball, football, ran track, and participated in rodeo.  I was a state qualifier for track and football and a state and national qualifier for rodeo.  I am on the rodeo team here at Western.

 Vice President Chloe Mosey 

 What is going on Western? I am Chloe and I am your Vice President of ASUMW. I am a member of the UMW Women's Varsity Basketball Team, that’s right I'm a balla'.  I am from Bremerton, Washington which is on the coast so naturally I love fishing.  I will pretty much eat anything with BBQ sauce.  After college I plan on starting my own business and playing pro-basketball overseas.  I love being out on the ocean and my favorite smells in the world are a new leather basketball and dead fish. I love meeting new people and I love adventures! If you ever need anything, come see me! So holla' at a balla'...balla'~out.

Senator Heather Brooks

 Hey guys! My name is Heather and I’m originally from this beautiful state of Montana, but moved to Wisconsin in 2000. As soon as I graduated high school, I sprinted my way home back! I play basketball here at the university and I am an active member of ASUMW, Biology Club, Terre Verde, and H.I.P. Club. I am also your guys’ intramural Director- whoop whoop! My plan is to graduate from Western with a Biology Degree under my belt and hit the Physical Therapy path. I love backpacking and hiking, so if you like being outside, don’t be shy and come talk to me… Let’s tackle a mountain or two!

Senator Stacy Chilcott

Hi, I’m Stacy and I’m from Chandler, Arizona, where I attended Hamilton High School. In Arizona, I rode and trained horses. Horses are my passion; I enjoy every minute around them. I am now a junior here at Western and this is my first time on Senate. I came for the Natural Horsemanship program, but I’m also a dedicated science student as I plan to attend Veterinary school after I graduate. I am excited for this up coming year! If you ever want to chow down on some jerky, I’m your girl!

Hey hey hey! My name is Dana, but most people just call me “D”. I am a senior at Western, majoring in Elementary Ed. I consider myself to be very productive around campus! I’m an active member in the Ambassadors Club and involved with Curious Minds Preschool. I am excited to be apart of ASUMW! You can come see me anytime if you ever have comments/concerns. I love meeting new people, trying new things, and having a good time. I enjoy just about everything. I love the outdoors, sports, working out, Christmas time, summertime, cooking, crafts, games, music, and movies. I also love m&ms, anything pink, and smiling! Smiling is my favorite!

 Senator Brett Christian

 Hey! My name is Brett and I am from Helena, MT where I graduated from Capital High in 2007. I am currently a sophomore here at Western where I plan on majoring in environmental science (at least that's what I think I want to major in). Anyhow, I am a very outgoing guy when it comes to being outdoors. I love to fly fish and backpack in the spring and summer, and then when winter comes around I turn into a complete ski bum. My dogs back home, all five of them, kind of run my life when I go home, but I enjoy every minute with them. All in all, I'm just a very easy going person who likes to live his life well!!!

 
Senator Dorothy Coomer 

Howdy! I'm Dorothea Coomer, Student Senator! I'm a Natural Horsemanship major who considers herself a cultured cowgirl and loves her family, friends and horses! My goals after college include being an equine journalist and horsemanship instructor. I love the mountains, rolling hills, wildlife and sagebrush surrounding me. I also like to show sheep, train horses, watch old movies, read, paint and draw, and I love COFFEE. As your Senator, I want to know what is on your mind, so I can share your views with the University. I am your voice; let me know what you want to say! This year I am the president of our UMW Horseman's Club, as well as Resident Assistant on 2nd Mathews. Have questions or just need a listening ear? Come by my room and chat! Hey, I’m Anthony Harris. I’m from Spokane, WA and I’m your new ASUMW Activities Coordinator. This is my sophomore year here and love every minute of it. I’m currently a member of the Ambassadors Club, Republican Club, and the Pure Kaos Dance Team. While being involved in all of these activities, I get to know tons of students here on campus, but I am always around to get to know more. Outside of school, I enjoy photography, listening to music, biking, camping, and playing the guitar. I look forward to a great year at Um Western!

Senator Brian Jacobson

Hey Everyone! My name is Brian Jacobson and I am a freshman Senator! I grew up in Butte, MT, but I love Dillon! My Major is Elementary Education. I love being outdoors. Camping, fishing, and riding my ATV are a few of my favorite activities. I LOVE FOOD!! Pasties, pork chop sandwiches. Spaghetti, and sweet and sour chicken I can eat all day everyday. I am pretty much a cool guy. If you want to know more just ask! I am looking forward to meeting you!

Senator Ashley Jammaron

Hey guys!! I'm Ashley Jammaron (yes that really is my last name!) I’m from the small town of Carbondale, CO. I loved it there but I have fallen madly in love with Montana and just might stay for a while.  I am a senior majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in small business management.  I'm involved in too many clubs on campus to list, but they are all awesome! Don't forget to tune into 'Over the Counter Jamz' every Tuesday from 7-9!  I also play on the golf team here at school which is awesome.  I love spending time outside, which is why I teach snowboarding at Maverick Mtn.  See ya'll on the slopes!

 I am a senior this year! I am a member of the UMW Rodeo Team and UMWSAA.  I compete in the Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying, and Barrel Racing events.  I'm from the small town of Tendoy, Idaho. I'm just your average blonde haired, blue eyed girl. I love the outdoors, riding my horse, hanging with my friends, and dancing. Also GO MAPLE LEAFS!!!

Hello everyone! I'm Desi Seal and I'm an Environmental Science major here at Western and once I receive my degree, I will be going into Environmental Law. I’m from a really small town in Nevada and love being in Dillon. I am a very busy person on campus.  I am an RA in Mathews as well as a member of Catholic Campus Ministries, STAND, and Ambassadors Club.  I never read for leisure in high school and now I love reading love stories! Sex and the City and One Tree Hill are by far my favorite shows! I am a very picky eater. I can’t cook/bake but I try. My favorite quote is ‘If your life’s work can be accomplished in a lifetime, your not thinking big enough’! I’m here to voice your opinion so let me know!

Senator Nicole Yost

Hey! I’m Nicole Yost and I am from Bozeman, MT! This is my senior year and my second year on senate. I am also the President of the Ambassador Club for the second year and an active member of the Republican Club. Being the Student Manager of the Bark N Bite, I meet a lot of people and can almost always be found there, if not I will be somewhere on campus. I love sports, shopping, traveling, the color pink, and of course sparkles! The LA Dodgers are the BEST! If you ever have any questions on anything, come find me and ask away. I love to talk!

Hi, I’m Cash (like the money, because I’m money). I am from Deer Lodge, MT and this is my first year on senate. I am a member of the UMW Rodeo Team! I’m a fly-fishing freak. I believe in the abominable snowman and secretly I am a ninja. My favorite food is skittles. I am excited to be a part of your ASUMW!

Office Manager Brooke Erb

Hey, my name is Chase Wanner from the small town of Forsyth, Montana.  I have lived in Forsyth my whole life.  I have enjoyed growing up in a small town with my younger brother Sean.  I’m currently a junior here at UMW majoring in Business.  I intend to get my masters in Healthcare Administration.  I have a work study job, which is working for Conferences & Events.  I’m a member of the Business Club, International Club, Alpha Chi and Youth Connections. Outside of the class room I enjoy playing cooking, sports, traveling, listening to all kinds of music, hiking, hunting, and ping pong.  I look forward to making my last year here at UMW a blast! 

Hi! I am Heather Rubey and one of your newest senators! I was born and raised in Southern California but now call Hamilton, MT my home. I am the secretary for Ambassador Club and International Club. In addition, I am in Honors Club and a Mentor with Trio I am also a member of AmeriCorps Campus Corps. You can find me in The Learning Center where I work as the Office Coordinator and would love to hear your questions and thoughts. I love animals, traveling, movies and being with friends and family. I am a senior going for a Psychology major since I love to help, so please feel free to come see me. 

Hey! I am your recently elected senator, Beth Davis.  I grew up in California but this last spring I applied to UMW and now I am a student here.  I love bike riding, baking, reading, knitting, learning and being outside.  I also love meeting new people and learning valuable things from others.  I am on senate for you, the students.  Please do not hesitate to ask me questions or come to me with your concerns.  I am here to listen and to do my best for UMW!  I look forward to the rest of the year and I will work hard to represent the students of the University of Montana Western.
