Montana Western Students,

The application to apply for additional Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF II) is now open for students enrolled in the Summer 2021 semester. If you have experienced extraordinary costs that have arisen because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we invite you to apply for additional emergency assistance.

In order to be considered, students must be enrolled for the Summer 2021 semester, have submitted a 2021-2022 FAFSA (only to prove US citizenship) and submit a HEERF II Application. Students can apply by clicking on the link below. When filling out the application, please answer all the questions including how much funding you are requesting. Students who leave the Funds Requested section blank will not be reviewed. Students can receive up to $1,000, but funds may be less if the student has already received HEERF II or CARES Act funds.

Funds can be used to cover costs of attendance or emergency costs that arise due to Coronavirus, such as but not limited to tuition, food, housing, health care, mental health care, or childcare. Montana Western will start notifying students of awards starting on June 1, 2021. If you have any questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 406-683-7511.
