The University of Montana Western’s Cantabileers, a select choral group, are performing Tuesday, November 30th at 7:30 PM in the Beier Auditorium. They’ll have a diverse program, including some traditional songs like “Silent Night”, some lesser-known songs like “Jazz Gloria”, and several solos and duets. Admission to the concert is free.
According to the group’s director Debbie Seacrest, “We are excited to present this selection of music. This group strongly incorporates the experiential side of choir, as there are far more opportunities for our students than there would be in a more traditional choir. Students are involved in every aspect of the class– they not only sing, but they choose the songs and conduct the pieces themselves.” Susie Steadman accompanies the group on the piano.
