Whether you are looking to challenge yourself with a new skill or deepen your understanding of a particular topic, Montana Western’s School of Outreach Lifelong Learning Programs can help you reach your personal goals in order to achieve a more intellectually rewarding life.


Personal Enrichment

The Personal Enrichment program enables you to explore new interests, develop skills, and further your passions. A variety of classes are offered from organizing and landscaping to financial planning and personal investing.  Many of our offerings include hand-on activities including field trips and workshops. These activities are wonderful venues to meet new people and expand your network.

Youth Programs

Montana Western’s School of Outreach Youth Programs have been inspiring youth for over 20 years through academic enrichment and recreational activities. Taught by highly regarded educators, students enjoy access to specialized labs and university resources as they explore their intellectual and creative passions in a safe, lively college atmosphere.

Road Scholar

Road Scholar programs have been a part of the University of Montana Western, School of Outreach since 1976. Road Scholar offers premier lifelong learning opportunities not only in the West and nearby Yellowstone National Park but across the globe.
