    1. Any full- or part-time member of the university faculty or staff must refrain from any partisan political involvement with student campaigns or student voting for an elected student office or student award (such as homecoming), except to announce to students when such elections will take place and encourage students to exercise their rights in participating in student government and voting without providing advice concerning candidates or issues.
